Clamp-It Assembly Squares Ensure Precise, 90-degree Corners

The heart of the Clamp-It system is our Clamp-It Assembly Square. Engineered from tough glass-reinforced ABS plastic, the blue square has flat square faces that hold parts at a precise 90° angle while you clamp, drive fasteners or wait for glue to dry. It features four docking slots and a pair of positioning clips to make its installation easier on complex assemblies or when you're working alone. The gray clips engage in the docking slots so you can hang the square from the edges of either 1/2" or 3/4" material. These docking slots also fit the heads of our dedicated Clamp-it Trigger Clamps and Power Jaw Clamps (both sold separately). That way, the assembly square will hold a pair of clamps at the ready, so corner joints are easy to cinch tight with one hand.

Corner Clamping Jigs Add Foundation Where It Counts!

You can't be in four places at once when assembling large cases and cabinets, but you won't have to be with our Clamp-It Corner Clamping Jigs for these big jobs. Each jig consists of two gray clamping bases attached to a Clamp-It Assembly Square, which holds them at a right angle. When positioned on a worksurface, the jigs let you stand pairs of panels on-edge and clamp each corner together at the bottom, so you can focus your attention on one corner at a time. Once they're cinched tight, the 90° design of these jigs ensures that your panels remain vertical and squarely in register.

Clamp-It Clips are Handy for Smaller Carcasses and Drawers

Our Clamp-It Clips slip over the top edges of any two panels, holding them at a 90° angle while you drive the nails or screws. If you're not planning to use Clamp-It Assembly Squares, these small blue helpers pop into place quickly and easily, as a lighter-duty substitute. They are available for two stock thicknesses: 1/2'' and 3/4''. The 1/2'' clips are useful for drawer and small box construction, as well as for cabinets with thinner 1/2'' components. The 3/4'' clamp-it clips are ideal for cabinet construction with typical 3/4'' panel stock.

Two Great Features for Really Big Cabinets!

If you build large cabinetry and other tall assemblies, you'll appreciate the pairs of holes in our Clamp-It Assembly Squares! They're sized to fit 5/16" threaded rods (not included). Just run a pair of long rods through several squares and position them on the rods with washers and nuts. That lets you stage the squares where they're needed most along an assembly for clamping, without having to hold them in place by hand. Even better, snap the gray positioning clips to the underside of each square, and they'll keep band clamp straps from falling while they're being positioned and tightened. With these two features, you may be able to forego using long, awkward or heavy pipe and bar clamps altogether for assembling cabinets.

Are They Compatible with Previous Clamp-It Squares? You Bet They Are!

Perhaps you already have some of our original award-winning black Clamp-It assembly squares and blue corner clamping jigs. (You can see them in the back corners of the cabinet box in this photo.) Our updated blue-and-gray Clamp-It line is fully compatible with the original hardware. Their 3/4'' height offset matches, so panels will be elevated evenly above whatever combination of Clamp-It corner clamping products you have—past or present—for added convenience.

We've Got You Covered for Angled Joints, Too

Even if you mostly build cabinets, sooner or later you'll make something with joints that come together at angles other than 90°. When those project needs come along, our Clamp-It Adjustable Assembly Squares will be ready for the task. They rotate from 45º to 315° in 5° increments and lock in place on poker chip-style teeth at the angles you'll need most, including 45° and 60°.
